What’s the best thing about summer? Is it the longer days? The warm weather? The smell of freshly mown grass and BBQs? The list of summer benefits are endless… but here at B&M we can’t get enough of some of the most delicious summer cocktail recipes that are around at the moment!

We can’t put them all down here (seriously, we’ve tried loads), but here are some of the best refreshing cocktail recipes that Pinterest has to offer. Bottoms up!

Prosecco Mojitos

Shopping list:

  • 3 Limes
  • 2 Handfuls of ice
  • 4 Dessert spoons of caster sugar
  • 50ml of Bacardi
  • 1 Mini bottle of prosecco
  • Fresh mint


Yes, it’s actually happened. Someone out there has had a stroke of genius and made prosecco mojitos and the result is a refreshing glass of absolute bliss. They’re really easy to make too, and are an amazing summer party tipple!

B&M Top Tip: If you don’t have mojito glasses, don’t worry. It’s fizz so feel free to serve these in prosecco glasses.

  • 2 Cups of vodka
  • 4 Cups of lemonade
  • Fresh mint
  • ½ cup of sliced strawberries
  • Lime

When it comes to vodka based cocktail recipes, this is one of our favourites. Some people in the B&M office have even gone as far as to say it’s the most refreshing cocktail they’ve ever tried, so try it for yourself and let us know your verdict!

Strawberry Mango Margaritas

Shopping list:

  • 1 ½ cups of frozen mango chunks
  • 1 ½ cups of frozen strawberries
  • ? cup of sugar
  • 1 ¼ cups of tequila 
  • 1 cup triple sec
  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 1/2 cups of ice


Sometimes after a long, hot summer’s day you really need a frosted cocktail. Well, you’re in luck because this wonderfully icy creation from Ashley, AKA Baker by Nature ticks all those boxes. They’re super easy to make too, just whack all the ingredients into your blender and blend until smooth.

Strawberry Gin Fizz

Shopping list:

  • 400g fresh strawberries
  • Fresh mint
  • 2 tsp caster sugar, dissolved in 30 ml of boiling water to make a syrup 
  • 100 ml of gin
  • 2 handfuls of ice cubes
  • 1 bottle of prosecco


Another one for the strawberry fans! This gin fizz is the perfect BBQ tipple, and looks great on the table too. It’s a delicious blend of gin, prosecco and strawberries, with a hint of mint - making it a wonderful addition to your summer evenings.

Tropical Sangria

Shopping list:

  • White wine
  • Sweet pineapple juice
  • A dash of tart passionfruit juice
  • Strong dark caramel rum
  • Lots of chopped, tropical fruit
  • Sliced lime


How amazing does this recipe look? Refreshing - check. Full of fruit - check. Colourful - check. Simply mix all the ingredients in a big old jug, chill for a while and serve for some tropical fun in the sun!
