Cash For Kids Mission Christmas Final Total

The dust is settling on yet another exciting Christmas period, with families across the country spending time with each other – and children waking up to presents from Santa.

Unfortunately, not all children in the U.K. are quite as fortunate as others, with millions of kids up and down the country experiencing a difficult time at Christmas.

A staggering 1 in 3 children are living in poverty in the UK, which means that toys are a luxury their parents can seldom afford.

Because of this, B&M fully supported the Cash for Kids Mission Christmas campaign, which aimed to provide toys and gifts to children who would otherwise go without.

We’re absolutely delighted to announce that the jaw-dropping grand total was:

£15,437,328

This is up an incredible 17% year on year, with 362,694 children receiving gifts or toys across the UK (up 8% year on year)

The support for the appeal has been overwhelming, with the sites B&M has supported delivering a total of £12,361,298 worth of gifts to 246,638 children.

We’d like to extend our sincerest thanks to all those who have donated to the appeal this year, be that via donations of money, toys or time – each and every one of you have helped provide a Christmas that these children would not have got otherwise.

In the current climate, with poverty and low incomes becoming more apparent, it is even clearer that people will always find it in their hearts to help those less fortunate, in any way they can.

From all of us here at B&M, we’d like to wish you all a fantastic Christmas and an even better 2017.
