B&M Cramlington Store Reopens After Relocation & Refurbishment

On the 11th of November, B&M was proud to announce the reopening of its Cramlington store! Following feedback from regular shoppers that they wanted a bigger shop and even more products we at B&M decided we had to deliver an even better shopping experience, and we delivered.
The store has now relocated to the former Gala Bingo, only a stone’s throw away from the old site. The new store is much bigger and better with over 21,000sqft. of sales space, offering an even bigger selection of great bargains from grocery, toiletries and health & beauty to toys, homeware, and DIY.
The store will also boast its own 3,813sqft Garden Centre selling hundreds of plant varieties and gardening products.
The current Cramlington colleagues were asked to nominate a local charity they think truly deserves some VIP treatment for the work they do for the local community. They chose the team from the Cramlington Foodbank Charity to take centre stage and officially unveil the new B&M store.
The Cramlington Foodbank Charity do not think that anyone in the community should have to face going hungry. That’s why they provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency goods and support to local people who are referred to them in crisis. Last year alone they provided 667 emergency food supplies to those in need. They continue to provide food for as many people as they possibly can to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
The store manager at B&M Cramlington, said: “We wanted a bigger and better store for our customers, giving them even more big, branded products.”
“We hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store, we’re really excited to get the doors open very soon.”
The store manager also commented: “Cramlington Foodbank really stood out for us, so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work that they have done. We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do.”
