B&M Creates 35 Jobs for Locals with Brand New Store in Beaumont Leys

Beaumont Leys Shopping Centre welcomes brand-new B&M store, creating 35 jobs for local people and boosting the local economy.

Having taken over a previous Wilko store, an extensive refurbishment programme has transformed the space of 19,800sqft. into a fresh new space for customers to shop all the best B&M bargains.

Filled with big brands and low prices, the new B&M store welcomes in customers to enjoy shopping across a wide variety of departments, including a great selection of food and drink, pet food, homeware, health and beauty, electricals, DIY essentials, toys, games, gifts and much more.

The store opened today at 8am on Friday 23^rd February and was officially unveiled by the colleague nominated local charity Falcon Support Services for all the hard work they do in the community.

The store manager of B&M said: “Falcon Support Services really stood out for us, so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work that they have done. We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do.”

Falcon Support Services are a charity that have been helping the homeless and those in need find independence through housing and community support for 20 years. Their mission is to help vulnerable people transform their lives, enabling them to live independently and healthily while positively contributing to the community. They seek to promote the dignity of vulnerable people, restore physical and mental health and wellbeing, including substance misuse support; provide high quality, stable, supportive environments, and accommodation for vulnerable people during their transition to independence as well as assisting vulnerable people in developing the social and life skills necessary to plan and prepare for their futures.

Cutting the ribbon at the grand opening, Falcon Support Services have opened the way for the community to enjoy their local B&M store and grab the best bargains.

The store manager at B&M also commented: “We’re feeling extremely positive about the creation of more jobs for local people, and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.”
