B&M Opens Brand New Store in Hinckley

In a welcome boost to the local economy, B&M are thrilled to announce the launch of its brand-new store on Hawley Road, Hinckley. The launch of the new store has created more than 20 jobs for local people.

In the 15,378sqft. store, customers can expect to find a wide variety of branded groceries for the best possible price including a range of food, drink, baby food and pet food. There will also be a fantastic selection of quality health and beauty products, homeware, electricals, DIY essentials, toys, games, gifts and plenty more to explore.

The colleagues were asked to nominate a local charity they think truly deserves some VIP treatment for the work they do for the local community. They chose the team from Hinckley Area Foodbank to take centre stage and officially unveil the new B&M store.

Hinckley Area Foodbank do not think that anyone in the community should have to face going hungry. That’s why they provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency good and support to local people who are referred to them in crisis. 64,593 emergency meals were provided for 7,177 people during 2022-2023 and 23,607 were given out to children under the age of 16. They continue to provide food for as many people as they possibly can, in order to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

The store manager said: "It was really exciting to welcome customers through the doors this morning, the feedback so far has been fantastic.

"A big thank you to the team at Hinckley Area Foodbank who helped us open the store today, we hope that our donation can help them to continue to do the great work they do in supporting the local people."
