B&M Opens New Store in South Ruislip

B&M has provided a boost to employment in Hillingdon, west London with the opening of its latest store.

The doors were officially opened at B&M’s newest Home Store in South Ruislip, located on Victoria Road.

B&M is one of the fastest growing retailers in the UK and its arrival in the town is a welcome boost to the area.

And to celebrate the store opening staff were asked to nominate a local charity to take part in the day’s events.

Mencap were chosen by staff as the deserving charity and representatives from its local branch were invited to cut the ribbon.

The charity also received £250 worth of B&M vouchers as a thank you for taking part and to further help their cause supporting people with learning disabilities.

A B&M spokesperson, said: “We’re feeling really positive about the creation of new jobs for local people and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.

“We are really excited to get the doors open and welcome our new customers through the door.”

Hundreds of shoppers passed through the doors on opening day, keen to make the most of B&M’s various product ranges, from toys and DIY to homeware, health and beauty and grocery.
