B&M Thrilled to Announce Brand New Store In Portmadog

B&M are thrilled to announce the grand opening of a new B&M store on Madoc Street, Portmadog. The launch of the new store will create more than 35 jobs for local people.

After taking possession of a previous Wilkinson's property, B&M have completed extensive refurbishment to produce a 16,000sqft B&M store filled with big brands at even better prices. The store was officially unveiled at 8am Thursday the 18th of January 2024.

Customers can expect to find a wide variety of branded groceries for the best possible price including a range of food, drink and pet food. There will also be a fantastic selection of quality health and beauty products, homeware, electricals, DIY essentials, toys, games, gifts and plenty more to explore.

The colleagues were asked to nominate a local charity they think truly deserves some VIP treatment for the work they do for the local community. They chose the team from Adferiad Recovery to take centre stage and officially unveil the new B&M store.

Adferiad Recovery is a member led charity that provides help and support for people with mental health, addiction, and co-occurring and complex needs, to maximise their personal potential, and achieve a better quality of life. The expert staff and volunteers apply a whole person approach to help people in all areas of their lives so they can live with dignity and as independently as possible. Adferiad prioritise the person and not the circumstances, putting the individual at the heart of
everything they do.

The store manager from B&M said: “We’re feeling extremely positive about the creation of more jobs for local people, and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.

The store manager also commented: “Adferiad Recovery really stood out for us, so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work that they have done. We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do.”
