B&M to Open New Discount Store in Bridlington

B&M was proud to officially open its Bridlington store in East Yorkshire following a major construction project.

Located on Hilderthorpe Road just outside the town centre, the store has undergone extensive construction works and has now opened to the public (as of Saturday 29^th October).

The new store now boasts more than 20,949.sq ft of big branded bargains and high quality products.

B&M Bridlington will offer customers a bigger range of products across all departments. They can expect to find a wide variety of branded products including food, health and beauty, cleaning, pet food, gifts, seasonal products, DIY essentials and homeware.

The colleagues were asked to nominate a local charity they think truly deserves some special treatment for the hard work they do in the local community. The B&M colleagues choose Saint Catherine’s charity to take centre stage and officially unveil the new B&M store.

Saint Catherine’s provides care and support at home and in the hospice for adults with terminal illness, and to their families, and friends. Their services allow a patient to remain as active as possible and make the most of every day.

The team consists of highly-experienced professionals ready to provide specialist palliative care to patients who have highly complex needs. They provide specialist nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, bereavement counsellors, social workers, complementary therapists and spiritual care support. All areas of Saint Catherine’s work are supported by a highly dedicated team of volunteers.

The store manager at B&M Uddingston said: ‘Saint Catherine’s charity really stood out for us so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work that they have done. We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work.’

The store manager also commented: “Our colleagues have been working really hard to get the store ready for opening day and we’re all really excited to welcome our customers through the doors!”
