Brand New B&M Store Opens in Brigg

B&M officially opened its first store in the town of Brigg on Thursday.

The brand new B&M Bargains store is situated at Riverside Market Place on Springs Parade, allowing easy access to the retailer’s wide ranges of branded and own label products.

Customers who visit the former Lidl will find a wide variety of toy, food & drink, and pet ranges as well as some seasonal goods.

A total of 30 jobs have been created as a result of the new store opening, a welcome boost to the local economy.

Lindsey Lodge Hospice were chosen as B&M’s Local Heroes for the day, an award given to a local individual or organisation which has made an important contribution to their community.

The Hospice are a warm and welcoming haven who aim to make the most out of the last moments for patients and their families.

They care for patients with life-limiting conditions such as cancer, multiple sclerosis, motor neuron disease and heart or renal failure, free of charge.

Although financially supported by the NHS, Lindsey Lodge still need to raise over £1.6 million this year to meet the £2.4 million running costs - that's £4.50 every single minute.

In addition to cutting the ribbon at the store opening, representatives fromm the hospice also received £250 worth of B&M vouchers as a thank you for taking part.

A B&M spokesperson, said: “We’re really positive about the creation of new jobs for local people and we hope customers are delighted with their new store.

“We have all been excited to get the doors open and finally welcome our new customers through the door.”
