Jobs Boost for Kettering as B&M Opens Second Store

10 December 2014

One of the UK's fastest growing variety retailers committed to securing 80 new jobs in Kettering with the opening of it’s latest store today.

B&M opened it’s second store in the Northamptonshire town this morning, at the former QD Stores shop in Sladebrook.

A comprehensive internal and external refurbishment programme was completed in time for the new B&M Bargains store, opening it’s doors to a large and excited crowd of shoppers.

Store Manager, Andy Riddell said: “B&M is committed to recruiting from the local area. We’re really proud to have created another 80 jobs in the town and we’re delighted to be playing our part in the local community.”

The store’s first customers were able to browse a wide variety of branded and own label products including groceries and toiletries as well as an extensive non-food section including toys, soft furnishings, home and seasonal ranges.
