New B&M Creates Another 50 Jobs in Bristol by Opening New Store

08 August 2014

B&M has created another 50 jobs in Bristol after securing new shop premises at the former Curry’s on the South Bristol Retail Park in the city. The finishing touches are currently being made to the 15,000sq ft store which will open on Saturday 9th August at 9am.

Customers can expect a wide variety of branded and own label products from its convenient location on Winterstoke Road including groceries and toiletries as well as an extensive non-food section including toys, soft furnishings, home and electrical ranges.

The store will be opened by representatives from the Bristol City Community Trust and the club mascot. The trust was nominated by the store colleagues and will receive £350 worth of B&M vouchers as a thank you for accepting an invitation to ‘cut the ribbon’ to officially mark the opening of the store.

Jamie Rawlings, Store Manager at the new B&M Bargains store said: “We’re really proud to be opening another store in Bristol, creating 50 jobs and continuing to play our part in the local community.

“We are excited to get the doors open on Saturday 9th August and have a team of colleagues who are willing to provide great value products and world class service to our customers”.
