New B&M Creates Over 40 Jobs In Dewsbury With New Store

31 March 2014

B&M has created over 40 jobs in Dewsbury after securing new shop premises on Wilton Street in the town. The finishing touches are currently being made to the 16,000sq ft store which will open on Tuesday 8th April at 9am.

Customers can expect a wide variety of branded and own label products including groceries and toiletries as well as an extensive non-food section including toys, soft furnishings, home and gardening ranges.

The ribbon cutting will be undertaken by 8 year old ‘local hero’ Megan Rodd. Megan was nominated for her ongoing fundraising work with the Leeds Rugby Foundation which has included baking and selling cakes, charity walks and even climbing Ben Nevis! Megan will receive £250 worth of B&M vouchers as a thank you for opening the store.

Helen Stott, Store Manager at B&M Dewsbury said: “We are excited to get the doors open on Tuesday 8th April and have a team of colleagues who are willing to provide great value products and world class service to our customers.”

Helen also added: “We are delighted to play our part in the local community and honoured to have Megan officially open our new store; she is a true local hero!”
