St Neots Celebrates New B&M Home Store

24 March 2016

B&M has continued its recent growth with the opening of a brand new store in Cambridgeshire on Thursday.

The new St Neots Home Store is the 3rd B&M in the region – highlighting why the retailer is known as one of the UK’s fastest growing.

A total of 59 jobs have been created as a result of the new store, continuing B&M’s dedication to providing jobs for local people.

Located on Howard Road in the town, shoppers will be able to browse B&M’s wide selection of branded and own label products thanks to its convenient location.

As well as groceries and home essentials, visitors to the store are also able to purchase toys and electrical products.

As part of B&M’s Local Hero initiative, representatives from Sue Ryder were invited to take part in the celebrations by officially opening the store.

Sue Ryder provide hospice and neurological care for people facing frightening and life changing diagnoses.

They offer emotional support and expert medical care – and also treat more conditions than any other UK charity in their hospices.

As a thank you for attending the store’s opening, the Hospice received £250 worth of B&M vouchers to spend in the store.

Also attending the day’s events was the Mayor of St Neots, Councillor James Corley, who helped to provide some ceremonial flair to proceedings.

The fun continued after the opening day had finished, with a face painter arriving on Good Friday to truly make the St Neots store opening a day to remember.
