Our dedicated Learning & Development team support all our people to be the best they can be and for those of you who have a desire to progress and work hard for promotion, B&M will ensure, where possible that we help you to do so.
With a range of different development programmes from structured training courses to supporting nationally-recognised qualifications, there are many opportunities to enhance your skills. On the job or off the job, training is flexible, convenient and more importantly, it’s focused around you!
To make sure you get off to a great start, we have a successful induction programme that will help you to feel part of the B&M family. In no time at all, with regular catch ups with your line manager, we’ll ensure you settle in and get to know your role.
You’ll then receive regular training on any new procedures and initiatives as they are introduced and once a year, you’ll have a performance review to discuss your achievements and how you are doing in your role.
We offer a range of resources to support your development and, as a new Manager at B&M, you’ll get the opportunity to spend time working with an experienced Manager to learn the business. The Learning & Development team offer courses to equip Managers with all they need, to be great retailers and we also run workshops to keep skills up-to-date.
A structured Management Development Programme is offered to those who are keen to make their way up the career ladder and as we take talent seriously at B&M, we can offer lots of opportunities for progression!
