Customers Flock to New B&M Store in Liverpool

20 October 2018

Customers have flocked through the doors of their new B&M store in Speke this morning.

The store, which can be found on Speke Retail Park - The Speke Centre (opposite the Jaguar Land Rover factory), was officially opened by Speke Adventure Playground, who took centre stage on the day.

The team aim to provide a positive and safe environment for young people to express themselves, make new friends, be more active and build self-confidence.

As a thank you for all of the hard work they do in the community, and for opening B&M's new store, the foundation were handed £250 worth of vouchers to spend in-store.

The former Poundland store has undergone an internal and external refurbishment programme and has created more than 20 jobs for people from the local area.

The store manager, Richard James, said: “The new store has been extremely busy since the doors first opened and customers have told us how much they’re loving it.

“A big thank you to Speke Adventure Playground who helped us open the store on opening morning, we hope that our donation can help them continue the outstanding work they do for the local community.”
