Spear & Jackson Garden Colours.

Garden Colours from Spear & Jackson has been formulated to colour and protect sheds, fences and other garden wood.

This paint enhances the natural texture of the wood grain.

It can also be used on terracotta, brick and stone to help transform your garden into a more enjoyable and beautiful environment.

  • 2.5L covers up to 30m² with two coats applied by brush to smooth planed wood, or up to 15m² if applied to rough sawn wood
  • Coverage may vary depending on the condition of the surface
  • Stir well before use


  • Apply by brush only in dry conditions; do not apply in temperatures below 5?C, in damp conditions or if rain is likely before the product has dried
  • Minimum of 2 coats are required
  • Subsequent coats must be applied no longer than 8 hours apart; If not possible, lightly sand down surface before re-coating to ensure adhesion

Drying Time

  • Touch dry in 1 hour under dry weather conditions; allow a maximum of 8 hours between coats; if not possible, lightly sand down before recoating to ensure adhesion
  • On areas subject to wear such as garden furniture allow a few days before heavy use or contact with soft furnishings

After Use

  • Remove as much paint as possible from painting equipment before cleaning with water
  • Store the product in dry conditions and protect from extremes of temperature
  • Take any unwanted leftover paint to a Community Re-Paint collection point
  • Keep upright and secure during transportation

Refunds and exchanges cannot be given against Audio/DVD and Computer Games. Should one of these products prove to be faulty it can be returned with your receipt within 30 days and we will exchange it for one of the same title.

Unwanted Food or Drink Products - Once supply conditions are broken, there are a number of factors outside of our control that can affect the quality of a product. Therefore perishable goods such as food and drink cannot be returned.

For reasons of hygiene and safety, personal grooming products, cosmetics or items of intimate clothing cannot be returned.

Mattresses, mattress toppers, duvets and pillows can only be returned if they are unused, in the original packaging and in a resaleable condition

When posting your items back to us, it’s important that you first authorise your return by raising your return online or contacting our Customer Care team. Once authorised, you can use the returns label provided once the return is raised.
