Leoni Hollis Wins £500 for St Luke's Cheshire Hospice

08 February 2022 - All UK and Northern Ireland Charity News,North West Charity News

A generous B&M colleague decided to donate her £500 winnings from a best decorated Christmas tree competition to her local hospice.

Leoni Hollis, a supervisor at B&M's Winsford store, won B&M's ‘Christmas Lights’ competition, which awards a cash prize for the best decorated Christmas tree.

Leoni, who has worked at the Winsford Cross branch for over 18 months, beat out competition from colleagues across the UK. She decided to donate her winnings to St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice, after they provided care for her father-in-law, Tony Hughes.

St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice offers support to people living with life limiting illnesses in mid and south Cheshire. St Luke’s was founded in 1987 and was officially opened by their Royal Highnesses, the Prince and Princess of Wales in May 1988.

We hope this donation can help St Luke’s continue to do amazing things and help so many people.

Thank you Leoni for demonstrating the true meaning of Christmas and for making us all PROUD!
