05 April 2017

If you’re entertaining this Easter, we’ve got some delicious drinks recipes to keep you and your family suitably refreshed.

Whether you need a short drink for the adults or something sweet and easy for when the kids finish their Easter egg hunt, you’ll be sure to keep everyone happy with these Coca-Cola inspired recipes.

Cherry Party Punch

What you’ll need:

  • 3 cups of Dr Pepper (or Cherry Coke)
  • ¾ cup of orange and passion fruit juice
  • ¾ cup of lemonade
  • ½ cup of grenadine
  • 1 pound of mixed berries, citrus fruit, stone fruit, peaches, plums, apricots (trimmed and cut into ¼ slices)

You don’t need me to tell you how to make punch – just whack the ingredients into a bowl, stir and serve! The only prep required is cutting your fruit, and you can add to the above recipe with your favourite fruit as you please!

You can fix this up while the kids are on their egg hunt. Just leave it out with some paper cups and a ladle and they’ll come running.

Caribbean Sunset Mocktail

What you’ll need:

  • 120ml Sprite (our Sprite 2 Litre bottles are just £1)
  • 60ml pure orange juice
  • 60ml lemonade
  • A dash of grenadine

Fill a tall glass with orange, lemonade and Sprite in that order to ensure the deep, fading sunset colour from blood orange to sunshine yellow. Garnish with a slice of orange or lemon and you’re all set!

Ice Cream Float

What you’ll need:

  • Coca-Cola (amount depends on how many your make – we recommend Coca-Cola 3L bottle; just to make sure!)
  • 1 tub of vanilla ice-cream

Not a long shopping list for this one. Just add Coca-Cola to a large glass, ¾ full and add a large scoop of ice-cream (or two if you’re feeling naughty). Gradually and slowly add more Coca-Cola so that you start to get a foam forming on the surface. Voila! Your creamy, fizzy, indulgent float is ready to drink.

B&M Top Tip: Mix it up and make your float fruity with Fanta Fruit Twist and strawberry ice cream, or chocolate ice cream and Dr Pepper topped with crushed Oreos or your favourite biscuit.

Cuba Libre (Alcoholic)

What you’ll need:

  • 2 limes
  • 2oz rum (white, dark or spiced)
  • Coca-Cola (this 9 x 330ml pack is great for parties)

Another really simple recipe; just three ingredients for this one. Add your rum and Coca-Cola in a highball glass, garnish with a lime wedge and serve with ice. A delicious cocktail that will stop the adults drinking all the kids' punch!
