16 December 2016

With just nine days to go before Christmas 2016 is upon us, lots of people are running around trying to get everything organised for the big day. One of the main events of Christmas is the delicious dinner that’s enjoyed by the whole family, and many Mums and Dads flex their creative muscles to create a beautiful table that’s fit for Saint Nick himself!

But if you (like many of us here at the B&M office) are unsure about how you’re going to decorate your table this year - don’t panic! We’ve searched the internet far and wide to bring to you some of the most creative and gorgeous dinner table decorating ideas in the world. Happy decorating, and we hope to give you some inspiration in how to decorate the table for Christmas dinner this year!

Sometimes the simplest ideas are the best, and it really doesn’t get much simpler than this! Just grab some wine glasses and some holly, tip them upside down and pop a little tea light on the top. If you’re feeling extra creative, why not fill your wine glasses with colourful sweets or small Christmas baubles instead?

Snowman Plates

If you’ve got a little more time on your hands, why not give this a try? Find some tree branches at the local park and carefully chisel away holes big enough to fit some tealights. A beautiful and Scandinavian-inspired Christmas table decoration that’s sure to impress your guests!

No matter how you choose to decorate the table, sitting down for Christmas dinner is always a wonderful event that we look forward too all year. We’d love to see your tables this Christmas. Send us your Christmas dinner setup via Twitter, Facebook or Instagram!
