Introducing the New and Improved Forest Garden Timberdale Shed Range
27 April 2026
The Forest Garden Timberdale wooden garden shed range has long been known for its premium materials, premium design and premium quality. But as the best became ever better earlier this year, we thought it would be the perfect time to shine a light on what makes Timberdale sheds a cut above the competition – and what additional features you can now enjoy.
A Huge Selection of Shapes & Sizes
From the small but perfectly formed 6’ x 4’ Forest Timberdale Windowless Reverse Apex Shed to the imposing 20’ x 10’ Forest Timberdale Double Door Apex Shed, the breadth of the Timberdale range helps to ensure that there’s a shed for you, no matter what size your garden. The smaller versions are perfect for popping in a quiet corner of your garden and filling with gardening tools, while the larger varieties make the best workshops, with ample room for workbenches, storage units, shelves, hooks and anything else you can think of.
But size is just one area where Timberdale sheds give you a choice. There are also pent, apex or reverse apex roofs to consider; single or double doors to opt for; and the question of whether you’d like windows or prefer the ultimate security of a windowless model. You can even pick up one with a handy logstore attached to one side!
This final point is where we can see our first new feature: all non-windowless Timberdale sheds now come with one opening window as standard (fitted with 4mm toughened safety glass), with the option to upgrade to two opening windows for a small additional cost. Good ventilation can transform the interior of a shed from a storage space to somewhere you can happily while away the hours and although you can always prop the door open, pushing open a window or two at the same time encourages air flow and gives you a light, breezy and temperature-controlled interior.
Premium Design and Materials
The Timberdale range prides itself on being handcrafted in the UK, on using high-quality timber and fixtures, and for incorporating elegant design features like a traditional finial and barge boards. Interlocking 12mm tongue and groove boards form the majority of the structure in each shed – including the floor and roof – and are set within our second new and improved feature, a 28mm x 52mm frame, for even greater strength and stability.
All of the wood has been pressure-treated, giving it a lovely natural finish and providing protection against rot that won’t need to be re-applied. And if that wasn’t enough, you’ll also get a massive 25-year anti-rot guarantee!
The roof is crowned with a high-grade polypropylene-backed felt cover that not only looks stylish but also acts as a first line of defence against the elements by providing unbeatable weatherproof protection. Then there are features like the double Z framing on the doors to prevent warping, sagging or dropping; wooden joists to elevate the floor and protect against the impact of ground moisture; and the heavy-duty hinges, interior bolts and key-operated rim lock to provide that next level of security.
Fully Modular Construction
Our final new feature is all about giving you even more choice and making assembly as easy as possible. Each Timberdale shed now has a fully modular design, where interchangeable panels sit within the strong frame we mentioned earlier. What this means is that you get to decide where to position your doors and windows (where relevant), opening up a whole new level of flexibility. The degree of choice increases alongside the size of the sheds, but it will fundamentally give you the ability to tailor your Timberdale shed to perfectly match the geography of your garden.
These interchangeable panels also mean that a Timberdale shed is delivered in smaller sections than other similar sheds, which makes for a more straightforward assembly and installation process. Or, for the full premium experience, you can take advantage of Forest’s professional installation team and have them handle everything for you!
