Tips for a Saucy Christmas Dinner

22 December 2015

Christmas dinner is one of the highlights of the festive period – why not tickle your taste buds with some added condiments to enhance the flavour? We’ve put together some of our favourite seasonal treats, as well as some festive ideas so you can sit back and enjoy some yummy Christmas food!

Christmas Cheese Sauce

Escape the norm by making some Cheese Sauce to pour over your Christmas dinner! Or, if you’re feeling adventurous, why not make your own Cauliflower Cheese? All you’ll need is cauliflower, Colman’s cheese sauce packet mix, some milk and grated cheese! Perfect as a side dish for your Christmas dinner.

For the Ham Lovers

Not everyone has Turkey for Christmas – there’s some who have ham, lamb or even beef! If you fall into this category, why not try creating some Parsley Sauce to drizzle over your ham? It provides a gorgeous taste to make sure your meat is as juicy as it can be – and it’s so simple to make from one packet!

Awesome Apple Sauce

After the Christmas dinner’s been eaten and the crackers have been pulled, there’s nothing better than sitting back with some amazing desert. It’s super simple to make apple sauce as a special treat; try lathering it over some ice cream! If you’re feeling confident, you could even make your own pastries and fill them with the sauce!
