B&M Continues Growth with 60 New Jobs in Willesden

16 May 2015

B&M has continued its impressive expansion in the south by opening a new London store.

The B&M Home Store and Garden Centre in Willesden has provided 60 jobs to the local community, as well as ensuring B&M’s quality products are available to even more consumers across the UK.

The store is the first of its kind in London, with all previous B&M outlets in the area of the Bargain variety – yet more proof of B&M’s continuing growth.

Recruitment is always done within the local area, ensuring that B&M has a much larger impact on the community than just through its low prices for quality products.

Based at the former Homebase, locals have already experienced the big bargains that B&M provides since the store opened today.

As well as the ribbon cutting, lucky shoppers were also transported into Disney’s magical kingdom thanks to the appearance of Frozen’s Anna and Elsa.

Children young and old were able to meet their favourite characters and even get their face painted; as B&M made sure the opening day was an event to be remembered.

The new Home Store and Garden Centre stocks all of the items you would find in a B&M Bargains store, alongside an extensive non-food section including soft furnishings, electrical, garden furniture and homeware.

B&M is now well on course to opening its 450th store in the coming months, with the UK wide expansion continuing at a great pace – as proven by a record 4 store openings on 1 day just 2 weeks ago.
