B&M Opens Brand New Store in Wales

27 March 2021

The long-awaited brand new B&M store in Llangefni was officially opened this morning, much to the joy of local customers.

The new store, formerly a Lidl, has created more than 30 jobs for locals.

A wide range of branded products are available to purchase, including toys, food & drink, homeware, electricals, pet products, health & beauty and much more.

The new colleagues were asked to nominate a local charity they think truly deserves some VIP treatment for the work they do for the local community. They chose the team from Anglesey Foodbank to take centre stage and officially unveil the new B&M store next weekend.

Anglesey Foodbank are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by the Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK. The charity provides three-day nutritionally balanced emergency food and support for individuals and families in Anglesey.

In addition to opening the store, the team also received £250 worth of B&M vouchers which will go towards helping the charity to continue doing the great work they do.

The store manager said: "We’re feeling extremely positive about the creation of more jobs for local people during these difficult times and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.

“Our colleagues have been working really hard to get the store ready, and we can’t wait to show customers their brand new B&M store.”
