B&M Set Up Shop in Golborne with Brand New Store

B&M were officially welcomed to the Golborne region in Wigan this morning, with the opening of our brand new store on High Street.

Eager customers queued on Friday morning, keen to be the first customers through B&M's doors.

The store contains a wide range of branded products, including toys, food & drink, homeware, pet products, health & beauty and seasonal.

Colleagues selected Jess Murray as their local hero, to help open the new store. During lockdown, she has helped her local community with quizzes, VE parties, fundraising, and dressing up as the Easter Bunny.

As a thank you, she was given £250 worth of vouchers.

The store manager, Lynn Madden - who has overseen the hiring of more than 36 locals - said: “We know there have been lots of people who have done amazing things for our local community over the last few months.

“We hope that our donation of £250 to our local hero can help treat them and show them how much the community really appreciates their hard work.”

She also commented: “Our new colleagues have been working really hard to get the store ready for opening day, and we can’t wait to show customers their brand new B&M.”
