B&M Sets Up Shop at Waterfront Retail Park in Barry

Customers in Barry were delighted this morning following the opening of a brand new B&M Store at Waterfront Retail Park.

The brand new store, which has hired more than 70 locals, will allow customers to experience the variety retailer’s great selection of branded and own label products.

With everything from toys and homewares to groceries and pet, there’s plenty of items for visitors to the B&M store to shop.

And store staff were delighted to welcome Mind in the Vale as their VIP, who were invited to cut the ribbon on opening day.

Mind in the Vale are an independent mental health charity who affiliate to Mind National. The charity works to support people who experience mental health problems, offering bespoke person centred services.

The store manager said: “Mind in the Vale really stood out for us so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work that they have done, and continue to do. We hope that our donation can help the residents of Wellburn House have the best possible Christmas.”

He also commented: “Our colleagues have been working really hard to get the store ready for opening day, and we can’t wait to show customers their brand new B&M.”
