B&M Thrilled to Open Brand New Store in Hall Green, Birmingham

B&M was delighted to open its brand-new Birmingham store on Friday 1st August 2025.

Located on Stratford Road, Hall Green, at a former Waitrose site, the new B&M store has undergone a comprehensive internal and external refurbishment and now has 15,903 sqft. of sales space. 

The new store will bring a welcome boost to the local economy, creating 15 new jobs for local people and will provide the community with an exciting and affordable range of products to shop in-store. The store manager from B&M commented saying: "We are feeling extremely positive about the creation of more jobs for local people, and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store."

Customers can now visit their new B&M Hall Green store and shop a broad selection of products at the best possible prices, including a variety of branded groceries, such as food, drinks, and pet food. There is also a fantastic selection of homeware, electrical, DIY, and health and beauty products available. Alongside a variety of brilliant toys, games, gifts and more, all available to buy at your new B&M store!

To mark the occasion, B&M store colleagues were asked to nominate a local charity who they felt deserved recognition for the work that they do to support the local community. The team nominated Hall Green Families to attend the official opening of the new B&M store today, and to receive a £250 B&M voucher as a token of appreciation for all of the charities invaluable work.

Hall Green Families offers free and confidential support to children, young people and families across Hall Green and the surrounding area. The charity helps families struggling with a range of issues such as mental health, bereavement and housing. They also offer practical guidance and support on issues such as money and debt, data and IT, and guidance for domestic abuse victims.
