B&M Thrills Locals with Brand New Discount Store in Rossington, Doncaster!

This morning at 8am on Friday 2^nd May 2025, B&M were proud to open the doors to its brand-new discount store located in Rossington, Doncaster.

Previously a former Co-Op, the unit now inhabited by B&M has undergone significant development to provide a sales space of 6,595sqft featuring the famous B&M layout.

The launch of the new store has created 20 new jobs for locals, significantly boosting the local economy and providing the community of Rossington with their favourite big brand household items at an unbeatable price.

B&M’s store manager said: “We’re feeling extremely positive about the creation of new jobs for locals, and we hope customers are going to love their new store.”

Customers can expect to find a wide variety of branded groceries for the best possible price including a range of food, drink, and pet food. There is also a fantastic selection of quality health & beauty products, homeware, electricals, DIY essentials, toys, games, gifts, and plenty more to explore.

For the grand opening, B&M store colleagues gathered around outside with their nominated charity, Doncaster Foodbank, who took centre stage to mark the occasion with a ceremonial ribbon cut, officially unveiling the store to the public.

Doncaster Foodbank works to help local people in crisis. They don’t think anyone in the community should have to face going hungry, so they provide three days nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to them in crisis. Doncaster Foodbank have supplied 8,485 emergency food supplies to people in crisis over the last year and rely on the support of the local community for food donations, volunteering, and finances.

The store manager of B&M also commented: “Doncaster Foodbank really stood out for us, so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work that they have done. We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do.”
