B&M Upgrades Strabane Store to Bigger & Better Unit on Main Street, Bradley Way
20 March 2026
B&M is thrilled to announce the relocation of its Strabane store, which opened its brand-new doors at its new location on Main Street, Bradley Way, this morning at 8am on Friday 20th March 2026.
The previous store shut its tills for the final time on Saturday 14th March 2026 following feedback from regular shoppers who wanted a bigger space with even more products to shop, and B&M was more than happy to deliver.
The new store is just a stone’s throw away from the old location and has boosted the local economy significantly by creating 20 new jobs for local people. The new unit can now host a wider selection of amazing discounts for customers, providing a sales space of over 8,503sqft. across a variety of exciting departments.
B&M’s store manager commented: “We wanted a bigger and better store for our customers, giving them even more big, branded products.”
Customers can expect to find the usual selection of branded groceries, homeware, DIY, toys, cleaning, electricals, health & beauty, gifting and so much more – now with a wider range available.
To celebrate the opening of the new unit, B&M store colleagues were asked to nominate a local charity they think deserves the spotlight for all their hard work. They chose the team from Strabane Community Project to take centre stage and officially unveil the new unit with a ceremonial ribbon cutting.
Strabane Community Project is a community charity supporting local people through connection, practical help, and inclusive opportunities. Their vision is a community where everyone feels valued and supported, with access to the services they need to live with dignity.
Established in 1987 by local volunteers, the project originally provided a space where mainly older residents could meet for a meal and socialise. Since then, it has grown to support the wider community through services such as befriending, educational programmes, food and heating support, and employment guidance, helping to build a stronger and more connected community.
B&M’s store manager also said: “Strabane Community Project really stood out for us, so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work that they have done. We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do.”
