Dundee Welcomes New B&M Store on Kingsway Retail Park

12 October 2019

Customers in Dundee were delighted this morning following the long-awaited opening of their brand new store on Kingsway Retail Park.

More than 25 people from the local area have been employed at the store, which contains a wide range of branded products, including toys, food & drink, homeware, pet products, health & beauty and seasonal.

As part of the opening day process, colleagues nominated local charity, Dundee Therapy Garden, to be given some VIP treatment. They helped unveil the new store with the local Provost, Ian Borthwick.

The charity work with military veterans and ex-uniformed people in the local community who are experiencing mental health problems.

In addition to helping to open the new store, the hospice were given £250 worth of vouchers to spend.

The store manager, Robbie Brand, said: “The team at Dundee Therapy Garden really stood out for us as they go the extra mile for local people in the community, so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work they do.

“We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do.”

He also commented: Our new colleagues have been working really hard to get the store ready for opening day, and we can’t wait to show customers their brand new B&M.”
