Local Workforce Boosted by New Canterbury Store

19 November 2014

Canterbury is celebrating the arrival of 90 new jobs after B&M opened it’s second store in the city.

One of the UK’s fastest growing retailers, B&M secured new shop premises on Marshwood Close and officially opened it’s doors this morning.

A strong crowd was present to witness the big opening and get a first glimpse of their brand new B&M Home Store. Canterbury’s second B&M will complement it’s Bargains Store on Ten Perch Road, offering a wider range of products from groceries and toiletries to toys, home, electrical and seasonal ranges.

B&M invited Sheriff Councillor Tony Austin to the store opening and as a thank you for making the opening such a special day, B&M awarded £250 worth of vouchers to the Lord Mayor of Canterbury’s chosen charities.
