More than 50 Hired at Brand New Sutton Coldfield Store

08 November 2019

The West Midlands has welcomed its latest B&M store to the region with 50 locals hired at the new location on Newhall Walk Retail Park.

Eager customers queued on Friday morning, keen to be the first customers through B&M's doors in Sutton Coldfield.

As part of the opening day festivities, Sutton Coldfield Charitable Trust were nominated by store colleagues as their chosen charity, donating £250 worth of vouchers as a thank you for all of the hard work they do for the community.

Alongside the charity, the Local Mayor, Cllr David Allen, was also in attendance.

The store contains a wide range of branded products, including toys, food & drink, homeware, pet products, health & beauty and seasonal.

The store manager, Nicole Birchall, said: “The team at SCCT really stood out for us as they go the extra mile for local people in the community, so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work they do.

“We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do.”

He also commented: “Our new colleagues have been working really hard to get the store ready for opening day, and we can’t wait to show customers their brand new B&M.”
