08 August 2014

B&M has created another 65 jobs in Birmingham after securing new shop premises at the former Argos in the Priory Square Shopping Centre. The finishing touches are currently being made to the 16,000sq ft store which will open on Thursday 14th August at 9am.

Customers can expect a wide variety of branded and own label products from its convenient location in the city centre including groceries and toiletries as well as an extensive non-food section including toys, soft furnishings, home and electrical ranges.

The store will be opened by the Lord Mayor of Birmingham who will also receive £250 worth of B&M vouchers for this year’s Lord Mayor’s Charity Appeal as a thank you for accepting an invitation to ‘cut the ribbon’ to officially mark the opening.

Jameel Chughtai, Store Manager at the new B&M Bargains store said: “We’re really proud to be opening another store in Birmingham, creating 65 jobs and continuing to play our part in the local community.

“We are excited to get the doors open on Thursday 14th August and have a team of colleagues who are willing to provide great value products and world class service to our customers”.
