New Clydebank Store Creates 30 Jobs

Shoppers in Clydebank were delighted to finally step foot inside their new B&M Store.

Located at Clyde Shopping Centre, the brand new store will allow locals to experience the variety retailer’s great selection of branded and own label products.

With everything from toys and homewares to groceries and pet, there’s plenty of items for visitors to the B&M store to shop.

More than 30 jobs have been created as a result of the new store, which comes as a welcome boost to the local economy.
And store staff were delighted to welcome local charity Food for Thought as VIPs for the day, who cut the ribbon on opening day.

The foodbank carries out vital work in the community, with the aim of alleviating food poverty for the most vulnerable people in West Dumbartonshire.

In addition to opening the new store, the charity also received £250 worth of B&M vouchers as a thank you for taking part and for all their hard work.

The store manager at B&M Clydebank, said: ““We’re feeling really positive about the creation of more jobs for local people and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.

“We are all really excited to get the doors open and welcome our new customers through the door later this month.”
