Re-Opening of Flint B&M Store Completed
12 June 2021
B&M completed the long-awaited relocation of its Flint store today, to a much bigger and better space – on the same retail park! The new and improved store has created 35 jobs for people from the local area.
Following feedback from regular customers that they wanted a bigger shop and even more products, the store team have moved into the former Carpet Right on Flintshire Retail Park.
The store is almost double in size and offers customers a bigger range of products across all departments. Customers can find a wide variety of branded products including toys, food & drink, pet products and health & beauty, plus a brand new garden centre. As well as an extensive DIY, decorating and furniture range.
The new colleagues were asked to nominate a local charity they think truly deserved some VIP treatment for the work they do for the local community. They chose the team from Flintshire Foodbank to take centre stage and officially unveil the new B&M store.
Flintshire Foodbank are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by the Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK. The charity provides three day nutritionally balanced emergency food and support for individuals and families in Flint.
Store Manager of B&M Flint, said: “We’re feeling really positive about the creation of even more jobs for local people and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.
They also commented: “Our colleagues have been working really hard to get the store ready for opening day, and we can’t wait to get the doors open.”
