Riverside Retail Park Opens Bigger & Better B&M Store

Store staff at B&M's new store in Warrington were delighted to welcome local mayor, Councillor Wendy Johnson who cut the ribbon to officially open the store. Local charity St. Rocco's Hospice joined the mayor as special guests for the morning, receiving £250 in B&M vouchers as a thank you for their hard work in the community.

Store staff at B&M's new store in Warrington were delighted to welcome representatives from local charity, St. Rocco's Hospice, the store's chosen charity for opening day. The charity received £250 worth of B&M vouchers in appreciation of their dedication and hard work in the community.

B&M's newest store opened its doors on Wednesday (28th February 2020) in Warrington. The B&M Store has relocated from Unit 6 Riverside Retail Park, to its new home at Unit 1.

The long-awaited grand reopening of B&M's store on Riverside Retail Park has arrived.

The original store closed on February 22nd, and the former Homebase site has undergone a comprehensive internal and external makeover programme.

Colleagues nominated St Rocco's Hospice, to be given some VIP treatment, and as a thank you, were given £250 worth of vouchers.

The hospice provide specialist for people diagnosed with life-limiting illnesses. They support patients physically, psychologically and emotionally to enable them to carry on living the lives they want to for as long as possible.

Alongside the charity, the Lord Mayor, Cllr Wendy Johnson, was also in attendance.

The store manager, Mark Shaw, said: "The new store has been really busy since it opened this morning and feedback from customers has been great so far.

"A big thank you to St Rocco’s Hospice who helped us open the store today, we hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do for the local community."
