Scotland Welcomes Brand New B&M Store in Coatbridge

15 October 2020

B&M customers in Coatbridge were delighted this morning following the opening of their brand new store in North Lanarkshire.

The brand new store will allow locals to experience the variety retailer’s great selection of branded and own label products.

With everything from toys and homewares to groceries and pet, there’s plenty of items for visitors to the B&M store to shop.

And store staff were delighted to welcome Margaret McGoogan from the local foodbank as VIP, who was invited to cut the ribbon on opening day. The foodbank has helped the local community massively throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, and beyond.

In addition to opening the new store, the charity also received £250 worth of B&M vouchers as a thank you for taking part and for all their hard work.

The store manager, Debbie Clarke, said: “We’re feeling really positive about the creation of more jobs for local people and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.

“We are all really excited to get the doors open and welcome our new customers this morning."
