Recipe: Crunchie Millionaire's Shortbread

We've added a Crunchie twist to the classic Millionaire's Shortbread!

It's a really easy to make recipe for this weekend, and perfect if you need an energy boost after a long week!

  • 150g Butter
  • 50g Caster Sugar
  • 150g Plain Flour
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 397g Condensed Milk
  • 150g Butter
  • 150g Brown Sugar
  • 100g Milk Chocolate
  • 200g Dark Chocolate
  • 1-4 Crunchies


  1. Mix butter with sugar and vanilla extract, and then mix in the flour until combined
  2. Pour into a baking tin and spread out evenly, poke with holes and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 15 - 20 minutes or until golden brown
  3. Leave to cool before adding the caramel
  4. To make the caramel over a medium heat, mix butter and sugar until fully combined, then add the condensed milk and stir over a high heat until mixture has thickened - then remove from heat
  5. Pour caramel over cooled shortbread and leave to cool
  6. Combine milk & dark chocolate together and melt; pour the melted chocolate over the caramel
  7. With a spoon, spread the chocolate so that it completely coats the caramel
  8. Now liberally coat the chocolate with crunchie pieces and chill in the fridge for a minimum of 2 hours
