Central Retail Park in Havant Welcomes New B&M Store

Store staff at B&M's new store in Havant were delighted to welcome Kathy Adams from Legan Valley Hospital, who cut the ribbon to officially open the store. Mrs Adams was chosen by store staff as their Local Hero and received £250 in B&M vouchers as a thank you for her hard work in the community.

B&M were officially welcomed to Havant this morning, with the opening of our brand new store on Central Retail Park.

Eager customers queued on Saturday morning, keen to be the first customers through B&M's doors.

The store contains a wide range of branded products, including toys, food & drink, homeware, pet products, health & beauty and seasonal.

Colleagues selected Kathy Adams from Legan Valley Hospital as their local hero, to help open the new store. During lockdown, Kathy has played a key role in supporting the community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a thank you, she was given £250 worth of vouchers.

The store manager, Kelly Juanita Nightingale said: “We know there have been lots of people who have done amazing things for our local community over the last few months.

“We hope that our donation of £250 to our local hero can help treat them and show them how much the community really appreciates their hard work.”

She also commented: “Our new colleagues have been working really hard to get the store ready for opening day, and we can’t wait to show customers their brand new B&M.”
