Refitting Work Completed on Manchester City Centre B&M Store

04 October 2018

The grand reopening of B&M's Manchester City Centre store was completed this morning, with customers welcomed through open doors.

Over the course of six weeks, the store on Hyde Road has been transformed and now includes a new fresh and frozen food range.

B&M is striving to be the one-stop-shop for customers and their fresh and frozen department will feature even more big brands and big savings, including leading names such as Aunt Bessies, McCain; Birds Eye and even Weight Watchers.

Colleagues from the store were asked to nominate a local charity they think deserved some VIP treatment at the reopening, and chose Forget Me Not Buddies.

The charity offers support, expert guidance and regular meetings with local people living with Dementia, their families and carers. The team also plan monthly events and activities to help those living with Dementia stay connected with their loved ones.

Bijay Patel, Store Manager at B&M Manchester, said: “We wanted to make our store bigger and better so we can become a one-stop-shop for customers.

“They will now be able to pick up everything they need under one roof, from a tin of beans to bedding sets, and now chicken nuggets and rump steaks can be added to the shopping list.

“We are all really excited to get the doors open and welcome our customers through the door.”
